What Do I Think of Toes Shoes Now?

My Toes Shoes

“Uuummm, I dunno” was the response I gave to a friend of mine who recently asked me that question. It’s a hard one to answer. I was so excited when I got my Vibrams and I only initially used them inside for my P90X workouts, then I grew a pair and took them outdoors…a whole new world opened up… I fell in love with them. They became my constant companion and I fell even more in love with them during… Continue Reading

I still do a 20 minute pilates DVD like 3-4 times a week, and I’ll do an ab workout 4-5 times. 2-3 times a week, I use my 10lb kettlebell and do tricep extensions, bicep curls, and shoulder presses. Fun times. Continue Reading

What’s a Post-Op Girl Who Can’t Walk Yet to Do?

Pilates - Straight Leg Stretch

  Carnival is coming up at the beginning of August and I can’t walk yet. Don’t see the issue? No walking = no exercising = possible increase in size of Earl = not looking very cute in my carnival costume. This is, of course, assuming I can even play mas this year, with just having the issues with my feet and all. Two months without working out is just simply not an option. The only form of exercise I can… Continue Reading

8 Days Post-Op

@CandidFitNut

Yup, that’s me investigating the new bandages on my feet. The pic was taken yesterday, seven days post-Op, when I had to get the bandages changed. I about lost the plot too during the change: sweaty, heat, dizziness came over me; blood pressure dropped super-low. But the doc said my feet looked good! Rewind Last week Tuesday morning, mum and I went to the hospital bright and early for the surgery. They prepped me for the surgery, I waited about… Continue Reading
